ON CRes 165: it turns out na di pla namin mag-ipon ng maraming problem and objectives for the projected 5 research papers that we need to do for this subject. datafiles were given instead, all we need to do was to analyze and make great papers out of it
ma’am pernia also turned out to be a great professor. she may have comments but no way will you ever feel insulted or whatsoever. she’s very encouraging in fact. sa totoo lang, i wanna grow old like her. super! i mean, where can you find a prof na manlilibre ng buong class sa SBC on a saturday night just to discuss academic work? (at dahil sinasaraduhan na din kami ng building ni manong na forever agit) and then, she would have boxes of Domino pizza for all of us to enjoy because of perfectly executed public presentation. grabe ma’am, thanks for believing in us. really, it means a lot!
also, CRes 165 turned out to be the most memorable subject of all. through this, we were recognized as a great batch — not to mention, energetic!
ON CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR: i was in Singapore for a week along with my mom and youngest sister (exactly dec. 25 till jan 1). we visited my sisters there, pa-christmas na din nla samin un. hehe. my dad and younger brother couldnt come, kaya ayun, aalog-alog sila dito sa bahay for a week. ahaha. Fortunately, i was able to meet my good friend there, Jonah (after passing through 22 train stations, na may interchange pa). We had so much fun! Grabe, i would LOVE to go back. haay.. nakaka-miss..
As it turned out, Gloria is still shamelessly holding the seat of power. And as there’s e-vat and all, everything went skyrocket high. But what i cannot understand is why those freaking law makers insist that bourgeoisie
would not be affected by this.
duh?!
ON FAIR WEEK: Hmm.. the week was awesome. been to 4 out of 6 fair nights, and i only paid once. once lang din ako walang access sa backstage *talk about ‘makapangyarihan’ hehe* as a result, i had pictures with bamboo, barbie, champ, MARC ABAYA, ney of 6 cycle, PAROKYA, and spongecola *yeah guys, feel free to drool. haha*
grabe, sobrang saya, sana ganito ulit next year… kahit thesis mode na ung sem na un.
ON VALENTINES: err…what’s valentines?! *hehe* anyway, we in the block had this ‘wear black’ concept — as spearheaded by jam, my other half. i dont have a date, and the only flower i was able to receive was from my soul sister — dianne (thanks dear!). nevertheless…
then, as the night falls, we had a great time sa unit ng "Katipunerong" si rai (read: Burgundy, Katipunan). stories were told, but i already know most of them. jam was so eager to hear aris’ stories, but she fell asleep so Van — jam’s brother — benefitted instead. boy did he hear loads of stories!
still.. i wish.. oh well..
ON CRUNCH TIME MARCH: we had loads of overnights. and weekends dedicated to acads. and nights for fun (which we fondly think of as something that balances all the freaking time we give for acads). for this, we would like to thank jam and ate lolit and van for allowing us to turn your house into a pseudo office packed with 6 laptops (na for some unexplainable reasons, nagkukulang pa din. see how demanding our course is?!). this month is also when jam, my other half, have "spread my wings" (as she would like to name her actions of tagging me along to some of her getaways). thanks jan claire *haha*.
so this is the story of the sem that was. haggard but great. haay..
also, i was able to view my grades na. so far, so good. didnt expect it to turn that way.
akala ko irrelevant ako, but no.
and when i showed it to my mom, she was like… *never mind. between the two of us na lang :-D*
